Placement mechanism in colleges after the Foundation year

1.      Student must pass all courses of the Foundation year with an accumulative grade at least 2 before placement in one of the university colleges.

2.      The Student will be placed in one of the appropriate university colleges from the colleges available in the student's study track and according to the competition mechanism based on the cumulative grade and the available seats of the college and the college criteria approved by the College Board.

3.      Applying for colleges enrollment should be done through the electronic services system (ODUS) and  only at the pre-specified times, application request submitted manually or as hardcopy will not accepted, in case of non-submission of the application request by the student he will be placed in the college if he achieves the college placement criteria.

4.      Placement is performed at the end of the second semester (or summer semester if any).

5.      Student is not allowed to transfer from one study track to another (scientific track to administrative track, or vice versa).

  6. Student is permitted to attend an exceptional third semester to complete and pass the          foundation year courses, and in case of passing all required courses, student will  be placed in the appropriate college according to his accumulative grade (based on the placement criteria of the college), provided that there are vacant seats in the college.
